Too bad my 2015 and 2017 equinox's both dont have that nice access panel to do this. Please make a video for those of with us manufactured vehicles without these access panels on how to do this without having to go to the dealership for it.

What about if you replace the bulb but it didn't go on, I also checked the fuse boxes but they only reference the high beams, still check those fuses and they are still good, any thing I might have overlooked?

Laura Wood says:

Thank you so much! The hardest part for my 17 yr old daughter and I was, going to the hardware store to by the less than $20, T20 tool for the screw. I will be using my handy dandy tape gun to put her name on it, so her dad, my husband doesn't walk off with it. I am beyond so proud of ourselves to doing this!!

Have to do it blind if you don't take off the tire. But it's doable. Thanks!

This screw cap does not exist on 2015 Equinox

baitmain55 says:

Make sure the old bulb gasket isnt stuck to the housing, you will never get the new bulb screwed back on, I took the tire off to see what was going on to figure it out

Mike Ackerson says:

My 2015 does not have this access panel, I need to take the wheel well off and work that way

Co73 says:

2015 Equinox doesn't have that access door. Correct your title

McSkuller says:

This only goes to 2015 the title is wrong

Daniel Basler Jr says:

I recently replaced the bulbs in my equinox n I had to open the hood to get to the access door to the bulb….. so this video doesn’t help anyone with newer then 2016 equinox
