I just put a new caliper on. And when I have the engine off. I can't get any brake fluid to pump out of the bleeder valve. And I've done many brake jobs. And I have always gotten fluid to come out of the bleeder valve with the car not running. Any ideas.

2006 Pontiac Torrent SUV 3.4 L V6 the millage is 222,502 KM in Canada brake fluid is Black in the Master Cylinder is that normal. also i have an issue when i speed up yo about 60 km/h and when i go to stop i have a stiff brake pedal but after that it go's bake to normal it has been doing this for about 6 months now every sent's i had my front Brake pads changed the brake pads used to be Metallic, but the new Pads are now Ceramic pads.
