Clean and concise. Nice work Sir, thanks.
GREAT VIDEO…!!! WHAT NUMBER IS THE U-JOINT…
Good review for the job and a heads up on the plastic.
Is the main drive shift the same way.
Great work man, hanks for the video.
Do I replace the plastic retainers?? If so where do I get them
Looks like something from Dr Pimple Popper LOL. Thank you for uploading this.
Did you lift the Tahoe to remove rear drive shaft or did you just chock the back wheels?
Mine doesn't have any holes in my 2003 GMC Sonoma 4WD.
awesome video Bryan916. Love the cleanliness of your work. Very well explained. Thank you for sharing.
Yep! Heat is the only way I have found to get original GM u-joints broken loose. Thanks for the video! There is only one other video I have found but they are doing it at a shop with professional everything. This is perfect for people at home.
Great video except my 2004 Yukon had the plastic and C clips on the inside too
So how long did you have that torch on it? I've had mine sitting here for 30 mins and no luck melting that plastic out.
I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado.. a 1995 Chevy S10 and a 1985 Oldsmobile wagon. I was working on changing the U-joints on the Olds wagon and it also has the plastic injected retainer ring on U-joints too just like your Tahoo…. so GM obviously been using the plastic injected method for a long time as far back as 1985.
Good video, thanks!
