Scott MaKrae says:

love how you cheated and didn't show actually unplugging the cable from the motor!! You tried a couple times and then EDITED AWAY from showing it being unplugged!!!! I have been struggling with mine, have pushed in on the pin and pulled and wiggled the plug but cannot get it unplugged!!! Brought up this video to see someone else do it and you CHEATED and never showed it.

Mine Notyours says:

Fan speed is the same from settings 3-6. Should I replace the blower motor or the resister?

Federico Molina says:

Hi, I live in Los Cabos, México, my A/C don't make, any sound or wind like a fan, in the cabin, i checked all the fuse , i think the blower ITS dead, sorry muy english, i want to know you opinión

mrmicro22 says:

Like others, pull it and clean it before you replace it. 6 screws and a little contortion but easy peasy. 1 hour including tool clean up and vacuum. Change the cabin air filter and vacuum while you're there.

Hello! I have a 2010 chevy equinox and have knocking and no cold air out of my car. The knocking is coming from passenger side. It's not the blend door actuator, no vibration from that, but just above that there is. Is it possible that the blower motor is out and that's where the knocking is coming from? Thank you so much for your help!

Just bought a new blower motor for my 06 Torrent am looking to follow the same steps, this video is definitely reassuring, pretty simple stuff. Wish me luck!

My favorite youtube channel! Thank you sooo much! I received my part on yesterday, only took 15 mins to replace my part. Part came in just in time, for the weather… I previously removed the old part. You saved me $900. Thanks for the excellent customer service.

datgirl SAINTsational says:

Cant wait to complete this project. Thanks!

ReverendTed says:

My 2013 Equinox Blower started clicking, and when the fan was turned up high the whole dash shook. This video was very helpful in letting me know this was a problem I could tackle myself. Fortunately, the blower motor didn't actually need to be replaced. Unfortunately, it was unbalanced because there was a dead mouse in the blower basket!

steve rugerguy says:

I need to get to the blend door actuator…..how do I remove the glove box?it's a 2006.looked and looked couldn't figure it out.

Joe Cucuzza says:

My 2012 Equinox had a third screw holding the panel on. It is in the area where you describe the hook. My panel really was a difficult remove job with the 3rd screw still attached. I noticed the 3rd screw when I was reinstalling the panel.
Thanks for the video.

DEBO DEBONARSKI says:

It took me 57 minutes to drive, get part, and to find tools and install it. Saved at least $150. Thanks

Samantha Steele says:

Do I need to unplug the battery?

Taino137 says:

I have a chevrolet equinox 2012, and the problem is that the air just come out by the floor/feet? Do you have an idea that what could be the problem?

JesusRodriguez says:

What about if the air just come out by the floor mode? ( foot ) Its a 2012 equinox

Terry Mosher says:

This video was incredibly helpful and made me feel confident enough to attack this repair myself rather than having the shop do it. After searching around the web and talking to the guy at the shop I think it's fair to say this saved me at least a couple hundred dollars. I didn't end up needing to replace the actual blower motor, just needed to remove it and clean it out. I would recommend that while you have the motor out, take a look up above the inside of the cavity that the blower motor sits in and assess the state of your cabin air filter; mine was all sorts of crumpled up and dirty so I made sure I replaced that as well while I had everything torn apart. This involved also removing the glove box in addition to the panel shown in the video but that's a simple task you can find how-to's for all over the web. After I pulled the filter out, there were all sorts of fuzzies, tissue looking material, small leaves, and other gunk that would have fallen right into the blower motor had I been changing this filter while the blower was still in place. Thanks again for the very informative material!

I need to replace the resistor for the fan. Is there a video for that?
