Yea it would be real similar just easier the actual baljoint replacement is
the same type you just dont have to deal with the front axles like 4×4
LMAO I answered with my other channel yea it is the same type replacement
just less work lol Hey do me a favor and subscribe to my channel…
Hey Dave sry i was locked out of my google account couldnt remember my
password and went through a bunch of unecessary crap lol. You can take a
short 2×4 and hold the shaft and give it a few smaks the 2×4 will feel like
a riccoche when its bottomed out hope that helps and not too late
Thanks! Is yours the upper or lower?
OK i am guessing you havent connected the upper ball joint installed but
not connected if thats the way you have it make sure the drive shaft is in
all the way and the weight of the vehicle not on the lower a frame the
spindal knuckle should pull outward far enough to thread the spindle of the
drive shaft in to the hole then just push down on the upper a frame connect
the ball joint
Hey did you get my other reply?
Is there any special procedure for putting the castle nut on or do you just
thread it on and put the cotter pin in?
Thanks for the tip! It may appear that im cutting with the pull stroke but
I asseure you I was only cutting with the push stroke lol 🙂
You bet,thanks alot.
would this be the same way to do a 99 gmc jimmy 2wd?
Thanks for responding and yes its not connected and the a frame is free and
hanging. How do I know if the driveshaft is in all the way? Im a noob here!
Loo..
Nice vid!! Mines snapped today! How did u get the rotor assembly to move
back in place to line up everything. Didn’t see it in the vid, just the
finished part…
Thanks for the relpy and it is the upper. Im having a hard time getting the
rotor assembly up to line it all up
you need to torque it to whatever the manufacturer says. i have a 91 s10
blazer and i believe its 55 ft lbs for the lower ball joint but you cant
get a torque wrench in to do the upper ball so tighten it as hard as you
can and put the cotter pin in. but never loosen a nut to line up the pin
holes always tighten.
just a heads up….files are to be used one way only-pushing forward-or
else it will become dull!!
