this is the perfect time to check or replace belts and hoses. The serpentine belt is really important to these GM alternators. If the tension is incorrect, the Alternator will die young.

You didn't show the one thing that concerns me the most: re-tightening the belt. I am 5'2" 110 lbs and some times belts can be a – well you know- and is there a particular weight or tension they require? Thanks
