Tired of Oil stains in your driveway, loosing oil, and the burning oil smell? It may be time to replace your rear main seal.

“Just take off whatever bolts are easier”, seriously?? I’m sure you’re good at what you do but don’t have a good system for explaining. It might help if you get a camera man
How heavy is the transfer case? I'm thinking about doing this in my garage, but I wouldn't have any extra muscle to help me
Thanks brother your video help me a lot good explanation out
5 min into the vid and I can just tell this dude is a great mechanic, question bro I got a 2014 Silverado 1500 is it similar the work for the Tahoe and silverado ? I cant find no videos on it
Damn this ain't a job you want to do in your driveway lol
Where do you live? Would you replace mine?
Great job! Now I'm going to watch Pt. 2
I'm going to do this with a regular Jack
So what are the chances of the Rear main seal leaking again? I’m having mine worked on as well as the oil pan changed and it’s pricey, I’m just hoping it doesn’t leak again. If it does I’m may be pissed. Hopefully I’m just being paranoid and the leak is gone!
you wouldn't happen to be located in Houston Texas ?
How much would the cost be to do this if this was only a 2 wheel drive?
How much did you charge them to do this if you dont mind me asking. I have an 02 Silverado 2500hd
Forget pb blaser. Seafoam deep creep is the shit, use wd40 for door and getting rust off of tools 😉
How much do you charge for the job? Fantastic Video!
use a 7/16 on the shaft bolts and get a new strap kit they are not meant for re use and they are like $5 at any name brand store
Whoever disliked this video is a jacksss
So basically in a driveway it's a ball-breaker of a job. lol
Well done. It's amazing to see machined surfaces as pristine and clean as the last time they saw daylight. Thank you for taking the time to document this procedure.
great video sr. I do the same thing I am a mechanic in mexico and all the parts that I take off I put the bolts in. So that I know that where the bolts go. thank you for the videos.
Hey man will this be the same steps for a 97 Chevy suburban LT k1500
If I changed my rear main seal and it's still leaking what does this mean??
