I have an 86 camaro with a 700R4 4 speed automatic, when I put it into
reverse it goes but it will not shift into reverse it’s like it’s in
neutral. It will not go into 2nd until you are doing atleast 35 mph and you
can’t have you’re foot in it or it sounds like it going to blow up. 1st and
3rd are fine, but I have no idea about 4th. Any suggestions on what the
problem might be?
you can try to adjust the tv cable by the throttle body, but chances is it
toasted 2nd gear band, does yours have a tach? sounds like its never
getting into 2nd to me at all, 35 mph before a shift? rpms gotta be maxing.
1st to 3rd I see you posted this 3 weeks ago, how is it now, and did you
figure it out yet?
