Kurtis- I would just repair it and recover it here is a video series that
should help you out.
How to remove a Honda Ridgeline headliner (Part 1)

ScottysDetailing says:

Brandon – the factory harness should have wired In the back for rest
speakers. If no wires are there it’d not hard to run new wires

ScottysDetailing says:

I believe you have rear door speakers and also the rear panel speakers
should be the same process.

Kurtis Snyder says:

do you know anywhere i can get a headliner for a 90 chevy k2500? ive been
looking everywhere and they’re all really pricey

Ryan Casey says:

I’d like to see how to fix the cup holder.

Brandon Bundt says:

I have a 88 GMC reg cab, I’m trying to add 4×6 speakers in the rear columns
like you show in the video, do you know if it is pre wired? There were no
speakers there originally but I know the dealer will pre wire everything
but just leave it alone.

DeathHead1358 says:

I have a 97 C1500 ext. cab with the 3rd door, and I am looking to replace
my factory rear speakers. Is the process basically the same as this?

Mike Courtney says:

Can you get to the third brake light wiring from the inside? Looks like
there are two holes where you might be able to grab it. My third light was
removed to install a camper shell and I need the wire connection to install
the third brake light on the camper shell. Chevy wants 58 dollars for the
connection and online wants 36 dollars. Don’t want to spend that much and
don’t want to take off the camper shell. Thanks

ScottysDetailing says:

I believe it’s the same just smaller pieces.

ScottysDetailing says:

Yes! Just remove the top trim piece.

Tracy Ault says:

is the process similar for a 94 S-10 extended cab? We’re trying to get to
rear 4×10 speakers. Thanks.

Lone Wolf says:

If you are talking about those green spots on the passenger side being mold
it is not. That is from your exhaust heating up the metal and discoloring
the paint. Anyway thanks for the vid i needed to know how to do this for
when I replace the speakers

Isaac Garcia says:

Is there one for a single cab

Jayster Qureshi says:

wow…a lot of love had to go into that.~

jakeboise1993 says:

James Angove says:

2011PootyTang says:

dont know how much times i watched this..cant wait to replace the back
speakers! Great, great video

TouchMyBanana69 says:

What are the color of the wires going to the back speakers? Are they the
wires behind those little storage units underneath the cigarette ash tray?
I was just planning on putting some new speakers there instead of risking
breaking anything, Please respone ASAP! BTW awesome vids.

Angel Ochoa says:

My father is a construction worker and it’s WAY past our truck’s due date
for a deep cleaning like this. I’m worried how it looks under the carpet.

drpepper1324 says:

bah i was trying to get under that top paneling to remove a dent, its
double layered by body metal, so much for that idea. HEY I NEED SOME OF
YOUR GREY INTERIOR!!!!!! mines the same color inside, need a drivers door
panel and just about the whole dash…. common u don’t need it for snow
removal >:D

ScottysDetailing says:

Sorry my friend, the only thing there is no seat.

ScottysDetailing says:

No! Not much room for the speaker magnets unless you build plates.

turner91cb7 says:

Not bad I may buy a truck like this and if I do am going to treat the
enterior and replace speakers and dyno mat the whole thing but question
what about the amp racks that’s small spaces maybe for the mods and highs
but your not getting a 1000 watt or bigger amp into there when replacing
the carpet on the back of the cab under window sucure a board there to
mount your subwoofer amp then build box under the seat that’s what I would
do anyway

ScottysDetailing says:

Nope! The only difference is the seat.

270wsm140gr says:

Thx….this vid was helpful..

joshua valdez says:

can post an illustration or a video of what or how an amplifier rack looks
like

Linda Searson says:

This video was very helpful. Now I got to decide if I want to take a chance
on going through all that work in order to replace the one blown speaker.I
am kind of worried if I might break one of the panels that are plastic.I
will give it a try and see what happens. If I did not see this video I
would not even attempt to try and do this. One thing for sure I am going to
go and purchase those special prying tools. Thanks for all the info.

akpyro47 says:

How do you remove the jack kit under the cab seat of a 93 chevy k2500?

Ruben Alvarado says:

U Dont have to remove the carpet non the front two sears

MrTightfitbikeco says:

has anyone ever tried to cut the rears to fit another set of 6.5?

coopersvillebroncos7 says:

Good video

randy parr says:

thank u very helpful now i knows its gonna b a little bit of a project but
they need to be replaced. majorly distorted. lol

flight0508 says:

Very informative video. It definitely helped me get my panels off. I can
say that if your replacing the stock 4×6, it may not be worth it. Using
higher end front speaker with adjust fade and a sub would be easier. In my
case I am installing 6 1/2. I did some body work by enlarging the stock
speaker hole to accommodate my larger speakers. Not a very difficult job
though. Just time consuming. Once you remove one side the other side goes
twice a fast.

BadFeat says:

You are the man!

vic chambers says:

can you make a vid on how to make amp holders for that little spot in rear?

Rick Patton says:

Does anyone know the best place to get the upper panel? I broke one of the
clips when taking it out to install the rear speakers.

Rafael Crisanto says:

Nice video. Im changing the speakers on my 1994 silverado

ScottysDetailing says:

You can tap into the wires on the driver rocker mud plate. (Dark blue/light
blue) (yellow and brown) The dark colors are neg- light colors are pos +
Also goggle chevy rear speaker wire. That should help.

Steve Hayes says:

Does this process work for a 95 standard cab as well? I already replaced
the head unit, would like to replace all 4 speakers in my truck as well.
(my fronts are in the doors) Ive called 3 different audio shops in my area,
and no installer will touch the rears because of the probability of the
plastic trim pieces breaking. (not that Im TERRIBLY worried about it) I
plan on using the same sizes as the the stocks.

Dustin West says:

Nice video, In the process of stripping my interior for a full
restoration.. have to strip the interior/doors/windows to replace some of
the floor/corners/rockers.. thank you. A+++++ on the dash removal video as
well Helped alot
