Going to need this myself soon. Got a used impala and the right side mirror
is scuffed beyond buff. A simple repair like this should be fun.
@S955US84 You do not have to disconnect the battery. Removing the door
panel on the Deville will be different.
Thanks a lot, your video is very helpful.
Does the battery need to be disconnected before starting this? Is doing a
2000 Cadillac Deville any different? Thanks.
No…The power heated pair on our website is Part Number: 1AMRP00700

If you are unsure of what options that came on the vehicle, you will have
to contact your local dealer and find out what you have through your VIN.
You need to get the same options on the new mirror or it will not hook up
correctly.
does it matter if the mirror is heated or non heated? I’m looking for a
mirror but not only do I not want to pay more than I have too, I also don’t
want to order the wrong part… :/
Great video! helped a lot, glad to kno how to do it instead of wasting
two–three hundred dollars at my dealership. Thanks a lot!
@alfredo91388 If there are major differences it is in removing the door
panel. Unfortunately I have not had an 06 or later apart so can’t say for
sure.
This video saved $50 from going to my mechanic.
Thank you for the excellent video, even non-savvy like me did it myself
following the video and saved quite some money.
Great video! Replacement mirror is quieter than original. Thanks!
@ 1aatuo are those power mirrors or heated
i have a 2006 chevy impala, are there any major differences?
This was very helpful thank u very much
Appreciate the vid! Just replaced my passenger side mirror on a 04 Imp, and
this vid was really helpful. Only problem is now my window is making a
scratching noise when i roll it down, i think its the styrofoam thats
touching, no biggie though. 🙂 yay!
Thanks for the video! Replaced a passenger side mirror on a 2002 Impala in
10 minutes or so. (Took me longer to find my putty knife than actual work
time) The remove/replace door panel video was helpful, the technique on the
tabs worked well and none of them broke off in the process. You guys rock!
