Good video, is it about the same for a 97 Blazer, I just broke the mirror off, looks like maybe don’t have the nuts on back but maybe screws from the inside going outward to the mirror? I have 3 plastic tabs on the mirror that broke off and looks like maybe screws went into that but have not looked it over close yet? Thanks.
If you can somehow put pressure on the screw with a flathead screw driver while you back the screw out, that may help you to take it out. hope this helps.
That was a paper clip that was stretched out that we used to remove the clip on the window crank.

The 79-93 Mustangs are set-up that way. It does make it pretty easy to access the bolts.
you think in this modern time, they will find a way to replace the side mirror without taking the whole door panel. like a triangle top panel that comes out where those screws are located.

Thanks for posting your repair videos on youtube; I could have brought a *simila* replacement part on ebay for a few dollars less, but your videos helped and saved me from buying a door handle replacement tool. I’ll be back for any other stuff I need because of that type of service

Thanks for this video. I just did this on my Jimmy with electric windows; you don’t have to disconnect the power cords or take the door off, I just let mine hang from the cord bundle which is strong enough to support the weight.
