This video was a lot of help for me. Thanks
Well explained..have to mention that in the Malibu 2001, you would need a
Torx T15 screw driver to remove the triangular piece in the center, after
removing the switch and before removing the door panel
if the drivers window motor goes out will all the other windows stop
working? all of my windows just stopped working the other day and i am not
sure why
Thanks for watching. Have a great day!
So what do when you’ve done everything and it still won’t snap in?
This video was very helpful. All I had to do was use PB Blaster with a
nozzle on the sprayer to lube the 3 rollers that run in metal tracks. First
I took front and rear doors apart thinking I would swap motors, but the
motors are completely different and impossible to swap. I tried the lube as
a last resort and the window works like new.
your awesome!! Saving people alot of money and explaining everything very
well.
Is there no syncing to be done for the auto stops after new motor is
installed?
@AMarti2 You should be able to install the new motor just like the video
shows, and be all set.
You may want to compare the new motor to the old motor just to make sure
that it’s the correct replacement part.
They shouldn’t to my knowledge. You may want to check the fuse, and also
the wire harness between the door and body of the car to see if there’s a
broke or frayed wire that may be causing this issue. Hope this helps you
out. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
