There isn’t really a way to fix that amber piece. The headlight assembly is fused together, so it can’t be taken apart. We carry new headlights for your Chevy Cobalt on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
The orange cover for the turn signal fell off inside the assembly on my headlight – can it be taken apart to fix this?
Thanks for the video. Just changed mine with your tutorial. Keep it up!!
Awesome video not to mention that it saved me some money doing it myself!
The low and main beam element are in one bulb. There will be a part number on the bulb that you should be able to see when you remove it.
which bulb would need to be replaced if the low beam has stopped working
Thank you very much. Very helpful.
Thanks – you made it look easy gave me the confidence to do it.
Great video!
We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows you how to do this. We’ll keep this request in mind in the event that we need to make this repair in the future.
can you make or do you have a video about how to replace the light bulb on the break light on the trunk? this would be for a 2006 chevy cobalt
Thanks!! I was having a hard time doing it.. but your video was very helpful!!
Very helpful!!
Love youtube. I can learn how to do anything on here.
You may want to take a look at the bulbs, sockets fuse and turn signal switch. To see if they’re all in good working condition. We sell new turn signal switches for your 99 Dodge Durango on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393 Hope this helps you out.
Hey I have a 99 dodge durango and I have a problem with the turns signals they work when they want to, but when they don’t work the lever thing on the steering wheel will still click in place. What could be the problem and how could I possibly fix this? Thanks
