hey thanx for the help….i got a question, could a fuel relay switch fuse
#18 under fuse box be a reason that a car will not start, thx
I struggled with those quick disconnects at first. Just to reiterate, after
you open the flap, you push the disconnect clips up so as if they are
coming off the line; they won’t actually come off, but then you can pull
off the tubing.
My exact set up. Thank you.
It may be the sending unit that is acting up. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Malibu LS V6? Thanks!

els can i do
@boneerooo You should be able to make this repair exactly as we show in the
video.
@tbok75 Thank you for visiting our auto repair channel on YouTube. You
should be fine. Have a great day!
The grand am and the Malibu share the same pump for certain years so it
should be the same depending upon what year it is.
You could test it with an ohm meter to see if it has the right voltage to
it.
@1aauto Is this very similar to a 2001 Chevy Lumina?
It looks like it may be a vent for the gas tank.
i really appreciate your help ty next time i buy part from you !
@Ducktastic777 If the car will not because of a bad fuel pump, the you
shouldn’t have to depressurize the system.
Thanks this video saved me and my fiancé a couple hundred dollars.
@ushook If it slowly turns over but doesn’t catch, you may want to check
the battery.
How do i depressurize if fuel pump wont start car?
Usually a full tank of gas will keep the fuel pump cool, If it’s starts to
act up, you may want to run it dry (if you can) and swap the pump out. We
carry new fuel pumps on our website, 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
It may be some type of vent cap. The dealer may be able to get one for you.
@sandylo73 You may want to check all of your grounds and connections, to
see if anything has come loose.
Thanks! You guys saved me some time. You made me confident that I wasn’t
leaving anything connected before I dropped it. Also getting those fittings
off was hard and you ensured me that I was taking them off the right way
without breaking them. Got my car running again and saved $500 over the
shop doing it.
Thanks for watching! Have a great day. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
