@RealRelz A chrysler will be similar but not the same. There will be slight
differences in how you remove the door panel and how the regulator or motor
is attached. If you don’t feel confident after watching the video then I’d
suggest enlisting the help of someone more mechanically inclined or take it
to a professional.

Hey…great video…i have a problem actually……i dont have that much
money to buy the regulator or motor…but my window is stock in the
middle….i have to close it…is their any way i can do without replacing
a part….

If you take you time this type of repair may take about 1- 1 1/2 hrs.
My drivers window rolls down perfectly fine as well as all the other
windows but it does not roll back up? What is wrong with it? I would
appreciate any help that i am givin thank you
Yeah, I think it is a wire that goes from the door to the body (I guess).
When the door is closed the issue happens when it is open they work fine.
Must be a wire that is going bad or is just getting pinched? I will take it
to a shop soon and get it diagnosed. Also thanks for your informative vids.

The window on my 1990 Caddy Coupe Deville passenger side goes up about 2″
and then stops? If I wait about one minute or two it will run again either
up or down the same 2″, any ideas why? Motor, switch or reg?
It may be that the window motors are getting tired. You could also try to
replace the window seals if they’re dried out, or another trick is to spray
the weatherstrip with some silicone spray (available at you local parts
store), to see if that helps to free them up at all. hope this helps you
out.

My power window motor went out in my chevy cavalier. Would it be in my best
interest to simply buy the whole regulator & motor assembly rather than
trying to separate the motor from the regulator?
You may be able to apply some of the basic steps shown in this video to
your vehicle. You may also want to test the power that goes to the window
motor to see if there’s power going to it. If there is power to the window
motor, then the window motor may be bad. Hope this helps you out.

If you are having an issue with all of the switches as well, you might have
a bad relay or a bad wire somewhere causing the regulators to ground
themselves out.
If my window goes up and down really slow what is the problem?
wow.. replacing a power motor is that simple???? My 98 camaros driver side
window is really really starting to die and all the shops keep trying to
charge me $500 to fix it when the motor + a regulator are only $110. I wish
i had the tools and wasn’t handy man handicapped lol cuz i can’t afford to
fix it 🙁 do you have a vid for A 98 camaro?

hey mike thank you so much with your help. i know my motor went bad on mine
.all week it would go up slow.now it down and i would like to know how do i
get my window up after a about a week before i get pay to replace the motor
.
All 4 of my windows will not roll down. I heard a noise when I tried
rolling down the drivers windows and is sounded like a short. I can’t roll
any of my other windows down via their own door switch. Would following the
instructions in this video fix that problem or is it my switch that has
gone bad?
