Will this be the same for a 2004 Impala? Having an issue that you have to
hit the bottom of the glove compartment to get the blower fan to turn on

Silas Sconiers says:

Thanks you have made many people life easier !

1A Auto Parts says:

It sounds like you could have a bad connection to the blower motor. You may
want to take a look at it. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Hello I have a 2000 Impala ls 3.8L, my problem is that the a/c heater motor
works only in the 5th position. What can be the problem. Thanks

thecheesburgler says:

This job sucks a little. Gotta bend down on the passenger floor near the
firewall.

Markus Latham says:

hello, thanks for the info about the fuses..i have check and the fuse was
out, but as soon as i changed it the fuse went out so i replaced it once
more(replaced 2times)..after that i turn on the ac control unit and still
no air blowing, but i did smell like a burning wire smell..

1A Auto Parts says:

It could be a loose wire, or possibly the blower motor or even the blower
motor resistor starting to fail.

1A Auto Parts says:

We offer free shipping in the lower 48 states. If you would like to start
with the resistor to see if that fixes the issue, you could to that.

I have a question I have impala as 3.8L it has a engine coolant leak can
you make video how to fix it or.estimate of how much it cost

Dan Turnbough says:

I also have a 2005 Impala, my problem is that the motor works but is stuck
in the on position and I have to pop the hood and pull the fuze out to shut
it off. Any suggestions to how to fix this would be Great. Thanks

1A Auto Parts says:

It could be a bad blower motor resistor. Usually when they go bad, you’ll
start to loose the speed settings. We carry new ones on our website

You made this process very easy. Thanks a bunch for your videos!

1A Auto Parts says:

Does it have the plastic factory coolant elbows that run through the belt
tensioner, and is that where it’s leaking from?

ryantheryno1 says:

2004 impala 3.4 ac, heat, and defrost all went out. No blow at all. Advice?

mrjoker31 says:

I have 2005 model and it doesn’t have the little hose would it matter if i
put on one of the one shown?

1A Auto Parts says:

@thecheesburgler Hopefully out video will get you in and out of there a
little quicker…lol Have a great day!

1A Auto Parts says:

This video covers from 00-03. If the blower motor on your 2005 Chevy Impala
is a little different, I would hook it back up like the factory had it.

1A Auto Parts says:

There is only one blower in the vehicle and it is located under the dash
board inside the vehicle as shown in the video.

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check the fuses first to see if any of them are burnt out.

I have a 2001 3.4 impala, the problem with it is that it only throws air
into the feet area, not trough the other vents even though i move the
switch. Any tips? Thank you

DOMINICK MIGNELLA says:

I have a 2001 chevy impala…my AC only blows on the speed setting 5, it
started by only blowing on setting number 2 and up then as a few weeks went
by and it would only blow on 3 and up and so on…I believe the resistor is
for controlling the speeds and the motor is working, on speed 5 anyway…I
would like to order the part from your site I just need to know if I should
order the resistor and the motor? or just the resistor? …please advise,
thank you

1A Auto Parts says:

Markus, for the heck of it check the plug ends that go to the blower motor
or whatever isn’t working on that circuit. There could be a melted or bad
plug end that’s causing this.

1A Auto Parts says:

The issue will be either with the switch or the blower motor.

Markus Latham says:

hello, i have a 2005 impala, the ac/heater is not working..there is no air
blowing at all…do you know what the issue(s) will be and can i fix it
myself?

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check for a possible vacuum leak somewhere which might be
causing this situation. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

HI Dan, You may want to check the plug ends on the blower motor and also
the resistor to see if they’re melted at all, which might cause this type
of situation.
