Is that a magnetic tray that is on the car or a detachable one or one with
your lifting machine?

Craig Wright says:

Alright thank you! Also I really like your guys channel. You’ve helped me
with a lot of my repairs. Do you think you could do some videos with 1999
ford escort sometime?

zachery woodard says:

kais295 says:

I have a 03 cavalier and I wanted to ask.. Does this make the car smoother
on bumps? Because mine is already 10 years old and it’s not exactly smooth
over a bumpy road… It’s pretty bad I have to go slower than other cars

1A Auto Parts says:

We’ll keep this in mind in the event that we need to make this repair in
the future. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

TheBoobiesmith says:

My crapalier started making strange noises in the rear end. I thought it
was a strut so I watched this video. Then I got curious when I seen the
bolts. I decided to take a look. I have three bolts and three studs on the
the passenger side; One bolt and three studs on the other. Gonna get me
some 10mm bolts tomorrow, see if that fixed it.

1A Auto Parts says:

We carry the strut without the spring on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

yes any replacement of the suspension on any vehicle will require you to
get the vehicle aligned so you do not wear out your tires.

greenspiraldragon says:

What if I want to just replace the center part? I can get the strut alone
for 46 dollars the whole assembly is over 100.

1A Auto Parts says:

If the shocks are bouncy or leaking and need to be replaced, this should
help you out.

Craig Wright says:

I have a 1999 ford escort. Will the torque settings be the same?

RaWxGuitarist says:

how do the 1AAuto struts compare to the Monroe struts?

ScotianBred says:

This video was very informative, thanks a ton. I would love to see more
videos using this type of vehicle. Since is such a popular brand.

Thanks for watching. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

@erick1076 HI, This particular car is front wheel drive and doesn’t have a
rear axle. It does have a rear hub bearing assemblies that could be
replaced it the one on your vehicle has gone bad.

timberlunadeazul says:

Remember safety glasses. And I believe it is 100 ft/lbs of torque for the
Sunfire lugnuts

1A Auto Parts says:

If they both have the same age on them, you should replace them in pairs,
because if the other one is weaker the car may lean to one side, due to the
increased pressure in the shock.

wilson pabon says:

my rear sinks when i press the brakes at low speed, people told me that it
is because i have to change the struts, however when i release the brake
the car jumps back into position unless i press the brake again… oh and
the wheels get locked.. is it because of the strut? i already changed the
whole braking system

1A Auto Parts says:

No problem at all. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

ROBERT BARON says:

thanks for getting back to me so fast and Thanks the info…….

ROBERT BARON says:

Thanks for the info. I have a 1997 Cavalier and when I hit bumps it make a
lot of noise and rides rough in the rear I will try this also I have a 2010
Mazda I bought it brand new and the trunk will not work with the key only
with the trunk release on the floor inside the car I tried Lub. but no luck
I know I can bring it into Mazda but would like to try and fix it myself
because the Warranty is over are you able to help .

1A Auto Parts says:

@Bruchagen You’re welcome Wayne. We carry those struts for your Pontiac
Sunfire on our website 1aauto.com

1A Auto Parts says:

@MrSteveConnolly As long as you have the loaded strut assembly with the
spring. I don’t see them for your app on our website but I’ll have the
product guys check and add them if we can source them. Obviously bolt sizes
will differ from car to car but the process with a loaded replacement strut
is the same.

seabeebob84 says:

You guys should sell these preloaded strut assemblies with lowering springs
already on them, that would sell!

MrSteveConnolly says:

Would this be similar to a 95 Olds Cutlass Supreme?

1A Auto Parts says:

They may be different for that vehicle.

barriosjose24 says:

Can you guys make a video how to install rear spings on a 2008 cobalt Lt
sedan???

Brian Fournier says:

Thank you for showing this video cause now I have an idea how to change the
struts on my sunfire…. people are saying that after I change them I have
to do a front end alignment is that true…

Erick Farris says:

can you make a video on how to replace the rear axle? i need to replace
mine and i cant find any videos as a reference

cars18atwork says:

please do a video of you replacing a front speed sensor harness on a chevy
cavalier 🙂

KC James says:

the sunfire does have a rear axle i need to replace mine as well. Its the u
shaped piece that the strut connects to that u see in this video

1A Auto Parts says:

@RaWxGuitarist The 1A struts are a great product, and a great alternative
cost savings over the name brand.

rpreiss33 says:

Thank you 1aauto, your videos are Greatly appreciated…

1A Auto Parts says:

You could have two issues going on, the struts could be worn, the brakes
shouldn’t lock up when you hit them.
