most notable difference is that the PREMIUM kits use OFC (oxygen free copper ) which conducts electricity much better and the budget kits usually are not true 4 Gauge resulting in less wire strands
Budget will be alright for most amps but if your running more than 400 watts rms power I recommend the premium amp kits

I connected a line output converter to the wires that you showed and they sun would play very lil I connected a 6×9 to the white and blue/black wires and it played good so what could be the problem?
I prolly would look at the video llj audio did one a Sierra 2500 had. They make a great harness and products. Wish I would have know about them sooner
I tapped into the left rear speaker signal wires(2017 tahoe LT with factory sub) and noticed the signal was pre processed (low frequency absent) making my bass sound like crap. So i dont recommend this for bass on this suv.
