Brandon Wilson says:

So i take it u guys left the snorkel part or whatever its called in. U can
see it when u take your pass headlight out. If it can stay in it saves me a
little headache

Mike Borraccia says:

“With the provided hardware.”

Daniel Lucas says:

I have a 2006 Chevy Cobalt and I’m pretty sure I have a faulty EGR Valve.
Can anyone tell/show me where to find that on the engine itself.

bvfd598 says:

Even though it’s for a cobalt I had to modify the hoses and it seemed like
it wasn’t long enough, very sketchy like fit

KNfilters says:

This kit is a Typhoon system and is for the ’09 Cobalt 2.2L. Do you have
the 2.2L or the 2.0L engine? The system is different if you have the 2.0L.
This kit featured in the video is a short ram style system with a heat
shield.

AMBASSSIDOR says:

Man that sounded way better with the k&n installed. But I’m like the
comment b4 me. Will my check engine light come on?

thewarhasgoneaway1 says:

Am I going to get any check engine codes with the air intake?

drewster956 says:

itl fit but knn cant tell u to do it but it will

eric meyers says:

yes it is in fact the 2.4L cause it has the ss bumpers and ss 17″ wheels.
it does NOT have the ss lip from the supercharged models. this may actually
be a sport model

KNfilters says:

No CEL will happen with our kit. All of our kits are tuned to work with
stock programming of the vehicle. If you were to experience a CEL
(Extremely rare situation) we ask that you contact us immediately so we can
correct the concern.

KNfilters says:

Please contact our Customer Support Team at 800-858-3333 so we can resolve
this for you.

KNfilters says:

It’s similar, but the kit you need is 69-4517TTK. This kit only fits the
’06-’09 models.

KNfilters says:

In theory, it can better economy. But as it is not possible to test for, we
do not claim or guarantee it.

austin12m says:

My maf cor won’t reach the maf any ideas

jacob harper says:

How much faster would your car go with this installation? And how much does
the new system cost?

Tyler Locke says:

Is it pretty much the same procedure with the 2.4L NA engine in the cobalt
sedan sport? Or do you not make a CAI for it?

KNfilters says:

The filter is held on by a hose clamp. You must loosen the clamp to remove
the filter.

KNfilters says:

I do not show any errors with the tube or the fitment of this kit. It is
possible that some consumers attempted to fit it to the 2.0L, in which
case, it would not fit correctly. If you have any install concerns, we ask
you please contact our Tech line so we can resolve it for you.

PowerLevel2011 says:

So Easy.. Plus all that extra HP!!!

georgeterro says:

there is a L wrench screw were the stock air box is at to pain in the ass
to get to

KNfilters says:

Unfortunately, we do not list an intake system for your application and
cannot recommend installing this kit to it.

Derrick Collins says:

05-08 LS/LT = L61 2.2 w/o VVT 09-10 LS/LT = LAP 2.2 w/ VVT SS/NA = LE5 2.4
w/ VVT It says VVT on the valve cover if you’d like to check.

Jerry de Nijs says:

Is the only benifit an addition to horse power or will cold air intake
affect the cars fuel milage?

georgeterro says:

is this the K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake Systems and will this fit my
cobalt 09 lt 4cyl please answer so i can know if this is what i should
buy…thanks also is this a cold air intake

PartTimeStoners says:

i have a 2007 cobalt coupe ls 2.2 liter i have a cold air intake installed
on it. how do i change the filter on the cold air intake? can you make a
video or just tell me?

Cynikal3 says:

@UYNProductions Not to mention, the motor has coil on plug ignition,
whereas the 2.2 used a distributor.

DustinB855 says:

Provided hardware, provided hardware lol

Cynikal3 says:

@UYNProductions Correct, the 2.2 did not have VVT (atleast I know of in 05
through 07). However, it is really hard to tell whether or not that is a
2.4, or a 2.2, as intakes made would fit either or. Not to mention, the car
does have a stock SS front bumper, however you can get that on a LS/LT…
The only “hint” that it is a 2.2, was the air pump, HOWEVER, on the actual
air box they removed did not have the air pump. My money bets this was a 2.4

KNfilters says:

All 2005-2010 Cobalt 2.2L are DOHC.

georgeterro says:

yes mine is the 2.2l iam gonna order here shortly also my question is did
they fix the errors with the tube fitting ect i seen great reviews but the
negative reviews i did see shown errors with the tube fitting and the
clamps k&n items are great as of right now iam using the k&n intake filter
and i love it..

Christian Garcia says:

Would this fit a 2006 saturn ion 2.2L ?

KNfilters says:

The vehicle will still have the same top speed (this is controlled by your
governor which is not changed). The price of the system will vary depending
on where you purchase it; we recommend shopping around for the best price.

JACKSchannel1100 says:

dohc engine ?

georgeterro says:

i just got this intake an installed it to my cobalt 2.2l now my engine
light is on i went to a shop and its reading p0102 which is my air sensor
how do i fix this???

OceanAirsoftNew says:

Would this fit on a 2.4 pontiac g5 gt. The engines intake is exactly the
same

KNfilters says:

We do not recommend using this kit on your application; there could be
different mounting points or cause a check engine light, etc.

jordanbriggs468 says:

it is the 2.2 ecotech yes it is an 05 it is the same car as mine 😀
@UYNProductions

georgeterro says:

how much would a cheaper version cost

UYNProductions says:

if that really is a 2005, then that is not the 2.2 motor. in 2005 the only
motor with vvt was the le5 2.4 from the N/A SS.
