Ryan Thompson says:

what size nuts do you need at the end?

Hack Amore says:

Wind noise when you were under the noise made it hard for me to understand
what you were saying. I wish you’d shown the exact slot of the fuse you
were talking about.

Chase Rousseau says:

Very helpful video! Thanks a lot. Took me a while to find the wires under
the dash but eventually did. I had no idea the wires were already installed
from factory!

Shaun Fox says:

I have the exact same truck. Awesome help!

Kenny Mclean says:

@Cruiseomatic1989 in 07 and newer the trucks came with that wiring as long
as it had the tow package and also had the fuse in it from the
factory…BUT only if you got the towing package…my 03 was as simple as
plugging in the harness and that was it.

@gixxer1000100 Hello! Can you tell me how this Thing work??? I understand
the wiring and the stuff.. but you must have an unit on your trailer such a
eletric cylinder which activates the trailer brakes??? Please tell me
because this looks interesting and we have such things here in
Austria/Europe… thanks

Cruiseomatic says:

Something tells me this truck already had a pre-wired connection and
someone either decided not to use it or wanted to do it the hard way. My
’01 base model which I had to run the brake and aux. power wires to the
rear had this connection already in the harness. And also, It is 20 or 30
amp fuse for controller depending on how many axles you’re running and 40
amp fuse or breaker for aux. power.
