How to install a rear, side window on a 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado

I show how I figured out how to replace the rear, side window on my 2004 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab. The process is the same for 99-2006 Siverados and Sierras.

Anyone ever converted these windows to electric?

Tyler Hubbell says:

I had to order a new window because of getting locked out and ended up breaking the button that the latch locks into to get in….Should have just paid a locksmith lol I didn't realize how hard it is to find the rest of the parts like the seal and window clip frame cause my new window has nothing on it not even the new button.

PsychoGames HD says:

Is it possible to convert to power windows?

xan_carman says:

Mine won’t pop into the tabs completely and keep coming loose…

Weston Wylie says:

Thanks for posting. I needed to figure out how to remove my rear ext cab door windows so I can paint my truck. Worked well! Didn't even have to remove the door panels

Anthony Thomas says:

Thanks for doing that. It was a little tough keeping up with your technical jargon but with the help off an encyclopedia and my old college physics book I was able to piece it together…

MelloReacts says:

Did it ever fall out??

Miguel Gonzalez says:

Did it ever fall off while you where driving? LoL

Glen Melancon says:

Lol, Technical tap. We call it percussive maintenance. Thanks for the video!

Juan Corona says:

Thank you! You saved me a lot of grief by not having to remove entire window panel and the glue that comes with it.

Isaiah Mcwhorter says:

Were did you get the window and track from

ty livinlife says:

Did the window stay in with no problem? I would much rather do this method then doing the whole frame. I have a 05 gmc sierra ext cab
