I love my exhaust like this which was installed yesterday. It's pretty mellow, till you get on the gas. I can't tell to much on power yet waiting for K and N to get my filter sent.
1100 dollars fuck I payed 350 dollars took the muffler off resonator and third cat and y piped it with straights now its aggressively louder and still gets a performance boost lol fuck that weak expensive factory shit
why would anyone pay $1100 for that pos exhaust
1100..lol..get a 40 series Flowmaster muffler and 2 turn down 5 inch tips, you'll be the envy of the neighborhood.
wish you would have started up the truck and did a sound before and after im glad you did video but i have no clue what it sounds like and price would be good too
Can this be installed on a 14 silverado with the 5.3 v8?
Standard Chevy, charge an ass load get nothing for it. You can buy long tube headers and a full exhaust for that kinda money. I did a full 4inch MBRP exhaust on my ecoboost F150 from the down pipes back all stainless for less then $450 and gained way more power and sound. This is retarded
Really good sound.
I feel sorry people without an exhaust shop. Got my 2014 with a custom straight pipe for 60 bucks and my truck is a real head turner, everyone who's a truck guy compliments me on the sound.
Putting that on a 6.2 would be silly. Stock exhaust is 3.5 diameter….. You would be going backwards.
….Eleven hundred dollars for 10 Hp………NOT worth It………;–(,,,,,,,,,
$1,195 for a "Performance Exhaust System". The only way I could see someone purchasing this system is if they wanted to keep their warranty. That has to be one of the largest "performance" mufflers to date! Notice how the original muffler is smaller and there is a resonator. It seems as if they increased the size of the "performance muffler" since there is no included resonator. 3" through piping with a single Flowmaster 40 series + high flow cat would yield better results for a significantly lower cost. So why pay over a thousand dollars for a OEM cat-back system with a bigger muffler than stock? First thing I did to my Silverado was replace the cat with a high flow variant, 3" piping Y pipe back, single in single out 40 Series to a single side exit on the right where the factory exhaust originally exited. The result, better response down low and at the top of the RPM band with an undoubtably raspy but controlled exhaust note that comes from an exhaust that looks factory 🙂 Factory pre and post cat O2's were integrated seamlessly and have been reading fine with no codes. When planned out correctly, a simple custom exhaust can yield the most rewarding results for nearly half the price.
V8's are really loud like right now on the Silverado.
I'd rather have something from borla
J1349 mean something else was done to get 10 more hp. By the time you get to the dealer. That 10hp is going to turn into 20hp.
Waaaay too expensive!
Or a stainless steel Magnaflow muffler for $250.
I did mine with a single in duel out after market muffler with no resonator. It's sounds so much better!!!
hey was that exhaust clip in 8 cylinder mode or 4 cylinder mode?
@5600 RPM. How this effect me at 1800~2000 RPM, for $1100?
I like that!
Holy FUCK that's expensive.
Still not loud enough. Have series 40 Flowmaster on mine thinking of going to either a series 10 or cherry bomb extreme.
Sounded like crap. Especially for roughly $1000
just make the performance stock
