Thanks bro!!! It’s annoying knowing that A LOT of people have this problem.

Bobby Blair says:

Seems like the gasket is on backwards, should have the relief portion to the front

Bobby Blair says:

Mine leaked through to the visor hinge

Mashhawkes says:

Just replaced mine today! Thanks for the awesome video. Gave me the confidence to do it myself!

Mark Kendall says:

Thanks for the video! I ordered one of these and will do it this weekend. However, it looks like in 2015 there was a 2015, and a 2015.5 model Suburban. The antenna you used is bigger and painted to match (2015.5 I believe). Do you think this will still replace the smaller non matching antenna on my 2015?

Thank you for posting this!!

Joe Medina says:

Where did you get the aftermarket antenna?

agentezzard says:

I just did this install today on my 2016 Yukon. Original antenna was waterlogged. XM signal is back to normal. Will see how long it lasts. Thanks for this video.

Todd Golling says:

This will be my third antenna that has crapped out on me. Six months later has this chinese knockoff performed okay for you? If so I am ordering today.

Jayme DiSanti says:

Worked for me! thanks so much

Michael Smith says:

Great video! I changed mine a few months ago when I replaced the headliner.

Eric Knowles says:

If your antenna still works fine but you are getting water take it off . Silicone the inside gasket around that bolt . You will see it . it is square and then put the bolt back on. Then lightly silicone the shark fin around the bogger outside gasket and silicone that little square hole in the back! That is what allows water to get in! I did this and it worked perfect and I have gotten a lot of rain! DRY

Eric Knowles says:

Hey man did water leak in your cab by your visor where it swivels? That's what mine doing and I thought it was weird about that hole in the back !

Mr7thsilver8 says:

What are the wires for on the shark fin?

Satanas Hell says:

William Hawkins says:

Thanks for the video! I’ll definitely be doing this to my 2015 Yukon.

Corey Long says:

Does this fix navigation issue? My Tahoe GPS shows I’m currently driving in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico (which we know isn’t true). Also, will XM radio still work? Thanks for the video.
