In this video I show you how to save the world and fix your dash… Sort of. These dashes became so brittle over time, there really isn’t any point in trying to replace them, because you’re almost guaranteed to crack the replacement when pulling it from the donor vehicle or during the installation in your vehicle. So just save the money and buy a cheap dash mat to cover up the cracks.

I like this solution…cheap, readily available, easy install, looks good (ish). Better than the alternatives…$300 plus for a factory dash that's just gonna do the same thing or some other Non OEM part that promises not to do the same…sigh

Every dash becomes brittle "over time" if you don't take care of it! I've got a 90 model Chevy truck with well over 230K miles and the dash is nearly PERFECT.
