Hey amigo how are you where you buy the parts and how much cost

Michael G says:

Always wondered why Chevy did such weird things with fuel injection, like
stick with TBI till the late 90’s And this odd “spider injection module”
stuff. Where as Ford (and Dodge) were using the standard muiltiport fuel
injection since the mid 80’s. Hell the 86 mustang had SEFI….

Bob Rabida says:

I got mine at ROCKAUTO.COM for a little ove 200 new

Eli Brass says:

I was wondering what brand injectors you used. There are so many out there.
Thanks for the video

jodoe22 says:

Buddy you have the gift of gab but your video is damn good! Well done

klausmkl says:

Brian Thanks for the video. I actually watched it 3 times then changed the
spiders on my K1500 Chevy truck. Without your help I wouldn’t of been able
to dot it. It was tough though I would not want to do it again. I salute
you good sir.

SlImE GrEEN says:

Corey Y says:

justme wa says:

awesome video, my 97 tahoe just needed this. with my shade tree skills and
your video I got errr done! you are my new hero!

jhurley12 says:

Thanks for the reply, it turned out to be something completely easy. During
reinstall I made a completely noob mistake, 2 spark plug wires going into
the cap were crossed, due to a shadow, couldn’t see very well 🙂 i fixed it
within 5 minutes of posting my original comment. anyhow, my truck now runs
better than ever. Incredible results. Perfect starts, hot or not. Everyone
needs to do this.. Its very easy and the results are well worth the few
hours.

Ed E says:

Replace your fuel pressure regulator. I had the p0172 p0175 and p0300
misfire code too and I just replaced the fpr and the codes went away and
it’s been a few weeks now.

Chris Wilhelm says:

Hey, love your videos. I cant seem to find any videos with putting the
upper plenum back on after everything was done here. Im having one hell of
a time getting the new or even old gasket around the injectors to seat
correctly. Even the old round “elliptical” gasket where the fuel lines bolt
into the injector assembly isnt doing the job. I have one hell of a
pressure leak right there, and its making my truck run like crap, please
help! This was all after doing a lower intake gasket.. thanks

Mike Jones says:

How much would a job like this cost?

briansmobile1 says:

Thanks for your encouragement and support!

kenman1717 says:

you mention that working on imports you only need a 17,12 and 10, but north
american stuff requires more. i work primarily on north american vehicles.
i find chevy the best for wrench sizes, 7,8,10,13,15,18,21,22. it is
actually a pain for me when i grab my normal sizes to do stuff, and i end
up needing an 11, 14, 16,17,19. i really think the world would be a better
place for us techs if every manufacturer used the same common sizes.

SkilledEddie says:

I didn’t replace the injector yet. Do you have any codes?

briansmobile1 says:

Gracias amigo. Es de nada.

briansmobile1 says:

No THAT’S funny! = )

spannerz says:

good video man,i wish there where bigger trucks in the uk to work on!i
would get the sack if i released aircon gas to the atmosphere…keep the
videos flowing!

briansmobile1 says:

Yes- sea foam and lucas. Just only use about 1/4 of what they recommend.
Excessive use just coats your upper cylinder with white concrete-like
substance.

RoniisH says:

Fantastic as always, Brian.

briansmobile1 says:

It’s got real injectors at the ends of each spider leg and they get signal
out at the end.

briansmobile1 says:

Really!? I shall do some more!

Tony Wadkins says:

Thanks Brian! I’ve been watching your videos over the past few years and I
always watch your videos before I repair something I’m not familiar with.
I’m getting ready to change out my spider. Good teacher and easy on the
ears. Thanks for sharing! Tony

briansmobile1 says:

Where don’t I get my tools from?

halleffect1 says:

just did this job but i watched anyway. don’t know why Delphi didn’t sell
this with the plastic pipes pre-bent.

testimonyproject says:

okay I have a 1996 Chevy 1500. I’ve changed the distributor cap the rotor
plugs and wires. I still keep getting a p0306 code . it says the number six
cylinder misfire. do you think it might be the fuel injector? I’ve done
everything even test the wires all looks good.. but I keep getting a code
that number 6 cylinder is misfiring… the only thing I haven’t done is
change the fuel injectors.. I also even change the fuel filter… what
could be the problem?

HaroRider03088 says:

Silly design, good video Brian. Keep up the good work.

briansmobile1 says:

I use a pair of dental picks and just be gentle. Remember that if you do
break them off there are ways to get them out again. There’s metal in the
tips so magnets work. And if all else fails, putting a new lower intake
gasket in is actually a really good thing to do while you’re in there.

Kyle Whybrew says:

what do you think of changing to the marine intake?

briansmobile1 says:

You’d have a lot of work AND a less reliable setup. I would skip to MPFI if
you’re going to replace the intake manifold, harness, and computer.

briansmobile1 says:

Thank you! Feel free to add any tricks you know of that I may have missed.

briansmobile1 says:

Thanks a lot!

ole1kanoli says:

Yo man. I need help. 96 GMC Savana 5.7 vortex. In a period of 2 years, it
went through 2 delco and 2 airtex. All done by a shop. I gave up and it’s
been sitting for 2 years Tackled it again, myself this time. New airtex
pump, why not, gonna burn any way. So, at the schrader valve, I get 60.
Every connection from the pump up to that point is 80. Disconnect line,
remove valve, stick pipe cleaner in and it’s clean! Why the loss of psi
there? And why does this thing keep eating pumps?
