Digitalfuk… this is just for you because you were so helpful with your
comments. I have well over a 1000 miles on this pump… so eat shit…love
ya bro

Thanks to those who liked the video im glad it helped some of ya out. The
constructive criticism is always welcome anytime from all if we didnt have
that how would we learn right. The haters can kiss my ass and heres why.
After changing this pump out a few times it gets pretty fucking old going
through the steps of taking a tank down by yourself. Spending a grand on a
rusting older truck isnt in the cards either. Having had shoulder and elbow
surgery makes things a little tuff.. not bitchen just saying.

Lawrence Neuser says:

The motor company should have supplied the opening, and the plug for
digitalfuk’s mouth.

stalking geesh your like an ole bitch with your comments

Just think, I first dropped my cj7 jeep tank before I cut a hole… You’re
crazy! 😛
HUmmm. I just made a easy access panel for my 76 cj7… But I don’t know
how to weld… :0

digitalfuk says:

Keep more fuel in that truck and the pump doesn’t go bad. These pumps are
cooled by the fuel.

DW Hilman says:

It’s easy to call down a guy for chopping a hole in his box floor, but if
anybody had to change that pump in the middle of nowhere and at night like
I did, they will be darn glad to have brought that spare pump and have that
easy access to make a bad job easy.

digitalfuk says:

There is no need to bleed the fuel system, it is a loop system that purges
itself of bubbles and regulates pressure by sending excess back to tank
along with bubbles.

digitalfuk says:

You are going to be replacing that pump in less than 1000 miles. You
absolutely have to put the new prefilter onto the bottom of the new pump
assembly.

trog shehack says:

lol a jack or two and that tank is out in 15/20 minutes

digitalfuk says:

Wire strippers for needle nose pliers, a crescent wrench for a hammer and a
screw driver for a spanner wrench. Nice. lol

Turco949 says:

$1000 for a fuel pump replacement? Wth! Does that include a bottle of KY
too? Good grief! I will definitely be doing it myself should mine go bad…

MrRich6505 says:

I can’t believe you cut a hole in your bed. That is unfuking real. Either
you lack mechanic skills or you are to lazy to do it the right way. I took
my bed off myself and changed the sending unit, and I’m a fuking idiot.

texasal2011 says:

Thanks for the creative and frugal approach. However,,as a spark and fire
prevention measure use brass punch instead of a screwdriver when taping
the metal retaining ring holding the fuel pump down. .

pyro8818ak47 says:

I just cut mine on three sides, bent it up then bent it back down when i
was done and tacked it with my welder and coated the seam with windshield
urethane
