Axle Nut should be torqued @ 103 ft.pds. and should never be tightened with air tools.

I got a rear pair for my Astro at a regular auto parts store, I assume they fail regularly.
Thanks for watching.. The easy way out might be to lightly sand them down and to paint them with brake caliper paint or the equivalent high temp paint..bbq grill paint also is very good..or u can also buy the backing plate from places like a1auto ex: part # 1ABMX00063 ..hope that helps 🙂
Nice demo. Do you know if it is easy to find replacements for the backing plate? On my right rear the backing plate is so rusted that I think flakes of rust are falling off and getting into the brake lining. I cleaned it up but I wonder if I am better off just replacing it. I guess I could just take if off….
