hey farmerboy. I have a question. i have a 91 chevy like yours but regular
cab and the guy i bought it from had the bottom bolts of the grill put on
with tie raps. is there suppose to be a bracket from the grill to where it
bolts on or do i have the wrong grill ? and where can i find that filler
between the grill and bumper. thanks farmerboy.. your videos are great
help. ive been watching ever since i saw your replace the radio video
Thanks, now I can do my ’89 with your help.
4 years ago when I got my truck, I took the grille out to change the bulbs
in the top, which of course found out they were reflectors.
do I need that bottom part for my bumper because my truck didn’t have a
grille when I bought so I went and bought a grille but it didn’t have. the
filler now I have a gap between the front bumper and grille looks ugly :/
Would this have been the same for a 1990 GMC sierra? I want to change the
grille but have no idea how lol
Thanks for the assistance. The video helped me a lot . Just remember on
your next video try to move your video camera close to you while explaining
stuff, because when you walk away your audio grows very faint. Just (FYI)
Great Job !!!!
Nice job. Got a full grille/light kit replacement set from eBay as well.
would not have known about the hidden bolts inside w/o this tutorial. Thank
you, and I agree you are making that truck sharp.
That is a very nice truck
Where did you buy the replacement grille from?
Do you sound like Rooster Cogburn when you got a cold?
Just what I needed – your tutorial. Thank you farmboy!
At least parts are plentiful and relatively cheap. I’ve seen transfer cases
for as cheap as $50 on craigslist!
I need to know if a 94-98 grill can be adjusted to fit a 90 model silverado
and if so how
You probably could of clean the old lights up
Check your email I can’t PM you unless you add me as a contact
is that grill 4 sale?
Man you are making that little truck sharp.
Looking for exact grille for my truck. Do you happen to know the part
number. Any grille I find is either all black or all Crome.
I’m sure it could, but I’ve never done it. Check the chevy forums on the
web.
Like to see more videos of you working around your farm.I drove through
Georgia a couple of times.Northern Georgia is real nice country.Nice job on
the grill R&R.One of these days I,ll have to get me a camcorder and do some
uploads.
I really like 93’s…I had one I drove for many miles. Replaced a LOT of
things during that time but it was a good truck overall.
Yes, but they still wouldn’t have been as clear as new ones. I ended up
selling them.
Do you still have the lenses? If you still have them would you ever sell
them?
Nice video. I have a 98 C2500 with the 4 rectangle lights, but I’m
wondering if I can swap that grille out for the chevy work truck grille.
The work truck grille has just two headlights, one on each side.
LMC Truck
I really like your new grill good job
Thanks for the post. Very helpful. I am replacing the ac condenser on my
95. Great trucks to own. Cheap parts, easy to work on.
thanks 4 the tips and love the country accent 2
not a bad looking truck
how you liking the stepper? Nice job on the grill replacement sure makes
the truck look better. Stock replacement was the way to go as the truck
looks very original.
Shoot, I wish I sounded like John Wayne! Then I’d walk around saying “Looky
here, Pilgrim” LOL
How can i fix my gas gauge??
I don’t know about the later models but the ’80s models had different core
supports for single and dual headlights. I would think you could go from
dual to singles but why would you?
Thanks, I’m trying
I do still have them but they are a bit cloudy. Send me a PM..
Thanks
Great instructional video! Good looking truck as well. I have an 88 and
needed help with the accessory bracket assembly and bracing location for
the engine. I don’t know if yours has the same set up, but it would make a
good video!
You’re welcome!
Thanks. I can do a video on that.
It’s gone
