2011 Chevy Traverse built at Lansing Delta Plant had a rod knock and was eating away at the crankshaft as the bearing deteriorated from lack of lubrication (OIL) and it is found that the engine needs to be replaced. The damage is beyond repairable limits. Classic GM 3.6l direct injection engine problems among the many.
