Chevy Suburban Exhaust Manifold Replacement! Tahoe, Silverado, Yukon, LS 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 6.2 Driver S

Chevy Suburban Exhaust Manifold Replacement! Tahoe, Silverado, Yukon, LS 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 6.2 Driver S

In this video, I show in detail how to replace an exhaust manifold in a Chevy or GMC truck. This particular job required the removal of 3 broken bolts, with two being flush into the cylinder head. I show you how to easily and cost effectively remove them. The vehicle in this video is a 2007 Chevy Suburban LTZ with 4×4 and the 6.0 engine. Below are the links to the parts.

NOTE: The aftermarket manifolds appear to be much better than the stock OEM exhaust manifolds at a fraction of the cost.

I promise you will not find one of these trucks with all original factory studs in place. All of them have at least one stud broken off. The only ones you will find without broken studs are ones that have been garage kept with less than 80,000 miles on them.

What happens if the truck has iron heads? When you are building up the material will it weld to the iron head as well?
