where the tf do you think that's easy. On my 94 ford ranger all I do is pop my hood and I can change all the bulbs in 10 mins max. My grandma owns a 2008 malibu and it took me almost a hour and a half
I'm at the service center now dropping $65 to have this done I'll let the pro's handle it cause I'm sure I'll F**K something up
You are guaranteed to break something here. Do not use power tools on plastics. Keep in mind that all these parts fit together with slots and tabs, do not force anything. The front bumper hangs on two slots he so bruskly manhandles to get at the headlights. Instead, remove the front bumper completely by removing the 7mm screws and push clips along the bottom. Free the sides of the bumper by pulling them out after removing the hidden bolts and push clips. Lift and swing up the front bumper out from the bottom. The headlights hang on two tabs and slots each. They have to be slightly rotated/shifted down to remove. Always replace bulbs in pairs.
Probably the dumbest way to install a light for a vehicle
My boy just saved me $500 people try to hustle me all the time in this not so cheap world but YouTube came in handy today
Imagine doing all this just to change a bulb
I learned this car drank engineer to design it every time I’m buying a car and make me doublethink
can you please tell me what tools you used to take the bolts out? I’m going to ask a friend to help me do this tomorrow.
I wish I had seen this video before being charged a fortune for having it changed! Will now only do it myself!
Just did it. Good video still relevant. Thanks sir.
Just took my Malibu to the Chevy Dealership last winter to get the high beams and low beams replaced (had both high beams burned out at the time) cost me an arm and a leg. Now not even a year later my low beam on my passage side burned out. I think the mechanic may have touched the bulb, because there is no way it would have burned out that quickly from normal use.
Thank you!!
