Good video. Thanks. In regards to the funnel attached to the frame
underneath the oil filter: I sealed up the centre of it with some duct seal
so oil didn’t run inside the frame. Also i thank you for that reset trick.
The manual doesn’t show that method.Your way is much simpler.
You must live near me – straight-up redneck. I have an ’05 Rado rolling on
33s – 4″ Rancho suspension. Only reasno I clicked on this was to see if you
were using a different viscosity than GM recommends. Been thinking of going
to a heavier grade.
balerii03 its your starter selnoid. happend to me with my mustang and my
truck isuzu i 350 which is the same thing as a colorado. but anyhow it only
happens in the morning the starter selnoid gets stuck.
I agree with 06i350Dude. When starting becomes unreliable, it is typically
a solenoid going bad. I would check my battery and connections, as well.
Also, be real careful with the steering column starter switch. It breaks
easily.
thanks for the vid buddy was trying to find the plug to drain it. also
we’re using ramps cause times is tough and paying to use a pit aint exactly
sounding good

the oil on my Blazer. Nice pick for oil and filter too.

and this video is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Like you said, anyone can
read it, but seeing what is where, and getting the tips for expecting the
spew of oil, and the little spigot tip, all fantastic. Thank you so much. I
have the same exact truck as you, but 1 year newer & just thank you, thank
you, thank you! I now feel confident in doing this.
wasn’t there enough room to do this without the ramps? i know there was in
my S-10.

Ever look at Walmart for oil? I’ve notice they’re always cheaper than the
auto parts stores.
hey i’d just like to say thanks for this video i had a hard time sleeping
and this video knocked me right out and ps your an idiot you never change
your oil on wheel jacks or else you trap dirty used oil in the pan you

hello. i bought a 2005 chevy colorado. it has 106k. what motor oil am i
supposed to use? a friend told me 5-30
im not gonna lie brotha this gave me headache with the twist and turns but
good effort
Amsoil vs others………………………….no contest. The major brands
that have the syn oils, are not 100% syn. Some do not care. People like me
that go over 15,k miles on one change do care.

My temp never runs higher then quarter
Mine does the same thing 10 min later fire right up ….and no check engine
or icon showing up on the dash board
