In this video, I show how to replace and install an entire brake line kit on a 2005 Chevy Avalanche. This fix is applicable to the Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon and Chevy Suburban. Check your vehicles year for the brake line application. I also change the brake pads and front rotors. Although I do not show this process, I placed the part info below.

I have a 2004 Escalade. I just repaired about 12” of brake lines coming out of the ABS (which looked exactly like yours). I had to remove the ABS unit to get to the lines that were leaking just above it. When done, I bled the brakes but the pedal doesn’t feel like it did before the leak. Some people say to bleed at the ABS and some say using a scan tool. Did you have to do any of that or just keep bleeding at the calipers?
I can honestly say I watch this video and now my brake lines are installed. Yes sir” appreciate it.
I see 50 thumbs down on this video. What the crap! How can anyone be so critical?
Exciting watch, wish I could've helped you. I gotta do the same thing to my 2003 Tahoe. Sitting 4 years killed it. Blew two lines first pump on the pedal. Might as well replace all of mine also
Exceptional tutorial. Wish I had seen this before I started on my 2003 Suburban (layout is exceptionally similar, down to the plastic holders) – the job wouldn't have been such a journey of learning.
I took the bolt out of the bracket there in and moved it towards the back cause it's hooked to the rubber lines
I had to do the front lines on my avalanche now as well. I’m going to post it here in the comment section of this video because it was incredibly difficult for me to find online. As you are laying on the ground looking up and towards the ABS module, left front, right front, left rear, right rear on the top. Master cylinder primary on the left master cylinder secondary on the right on the bottom. If they follow your video Carefully enough they can probably see that but it does get kind of confusing when all the lines get tangled up. Thanks again for making this video
Awesome video. I'm about to start this tomorrow morning. Even 2 years later, you're still helping people out.
I'm dreading doing this soon
