My 05 is a lot different,or perhaps a different motor..I need to replace

cond cool….is this the unit u replaced????

K Lee says:

Do I have to disconnect the battery before work?
and does it program by itself after installation?

Leslie Bostock says:

Dayum that was easy, now how bout on a maxima?

Phil Turpin says:

how do you remove the screw to the plastic cover thats all the way to the
left under the console? I cant get to it

Accumulator1 says:

The bottom cover on my 99 silverado was a bitch to access and remove the
screws then realign them and replace.
I saved over $35. I did not have to buy another actuator. I removed the one
that stopped working. Took it apart. Had a bad diode…. 1N4004.
Replaced it with one that I had in my parts supply.Works perfect now. The
difficult part was to realign the plastic gears inside. Finally figured it
out and reinstalled the actuator. That flaky cover reinstalling took me
forever to line up the screw holes. There is also a large ceramic
resistor on board in the actuator. It is normal to see some heat
discoloration around it for it is made to get hot. I just retouched the
solder to make sure the reisistor had good board connection.

good vid bro,I have a question, Somtimes I have my ac on, and out of know
where hot air comes from driver side vents, and I hear this noise under
right side of my dash can this be the BDA? I have a 2005 silverado 1500.
LMK THANKS

Mathew Chursinoff says:

Is this for the passenger side vents or driver side vents. My truck blows
warm air from driver vents.

Also, my passenger vents don’t blow strong air like the drivers……What
could be the problem?

Anthony Fonash says:

My AC is stuck on defrost. How do I fix it? I’ve searched everywhere!

Alisha Burns says:

what is it part # for that particular one.

Matthew Lins says:

Is this the same for a 2003 Tahoe?

Jason Doby says:

I have a 2004 Silverado that will not blow cold air from either side. Heat
seems to be working fine. AC system is charged and compressor clutch is
turning. I replaced the actuator under the dash, near the floor (the one
easy to get to). Still no cold air. I can change modes successfully, as in
changing from blowing from dash to floor to defrost etc. I now there is
another actuator requiring removal dash components, etc. What are my
options left to check?

Tammy Dufraine says:

Was the heater blowing cold on one side hot on the pa

ARSOSOAROKLAS says:

+2CarPros the actuator seems to be moving fine, gears look good. But the
problem is still there. Any other thing it could be?

opdogg1000 says:

Did you change this due to heater blowing cold air???

Madison Kment Softball says:

Great directions. Got to where I was just about to take off the Actuator,
gave it a tap with the wrench and it switched. Did not work again… but
after wiggling the wire harness, seems to work consistently now. Hopefully
it was a lose connection!!

Thanks for the video

My newer model 07 Chevy defrost and feet vents work but not the front
vents. Is it the same?

HondaGoldwingGL1800 says:

You only showed the EASY blend motor. There has to be another one somewhere
as my drivers side blows cold and the passenger side blows hot. I have
looked everywhere for the other one and it is well hidden…or can you tell
me where it is?

Noel Mosqueda says:

My a/c only blows on Defrost not the vents. Is it the same part also?

ARSOSOAROKLAS says:

My a/c and heat only blow from defrost vents, not from front or feet vents,
is this what is causing this?
