Having an issue on my 2010 Chevy Express where the Stabilitrak light will come on intermittently when hitting a pothole, typically goes away within a few seconds, seems more pronounced of an issue during high humidity or rain, same with a service airbag light.

Recently replaced the under-hood fuse block/panel with an OEM new unit because I was having a crank but no start condition that I’m pretty sure was killing the signal to prime the fuel pump due to burnt circuitry within the old panel. Has been starting consistently since. Also routed a new ground strap from the engine to frame on the passenger front side. No other electrical related work besides that. Service airbag light would still intermittently flash prior to these repairs

So you had comms from one module up to the the steering angle sensor then you confirmed it coming out the steering angle sensor. How were you able to verify it was reaching the other module before condemning the steering angle sensor? Thanks in advance

This video is timely. Like said above learning more and more from you and Eric, Ivan, Paul, et. I recently bought an 04 suburban from down south. Only code was a c0455 and a “service stability” on the info center. Looked up the factory service info pointing to the SWPS. Found out there is a 5 volt signal coming out of the sensor. Should be 2.5 with the wheel centered. Then goes to 0 fill left, and to 5 full right. Check with a meter and mine was at .25 at center. Any time you start it up and turn the wheel the “service stability” message would come back. After removing the sensor, which I broke the plastic taking it out unfortunately, I found it was turned to the left 1 turn already. I spun it 1 turn to the right and then it would read 2.5 at center like it was supposed to. Someone must have accidentally spun it when it was replaced in the past. Since I broke the housing removing it I replaced it again anyway. New one was 2.5 right away when installed. No more “service stability” message. Thanks again for sharing your experience!

I cant see the screens. You need to improve your presentation little.

@harveyadams5453 says:

Where did you get the little breakout box from… We would like to incorporate that into our arsenal

@GeneG-wk2mz says:

Are there any other things can cause this Also ?

@Alex-Trejo says:

Not to be rude. Can you slow down everything, especially when explaining and using the scanner.

@frankcarpenetti5776 says:

You are one of my top three to watch when i can…great info. But if you can slow things down… just a bit….i know time is money.. but things are
really , really fast here for people who are trying to learn from you. Please keep them coming as much as you can Bro!

@markjohnson-fd3qs says:

What break out box is that?

@bartscave says:

Thanks for sharing this!

AI tells me that CF-33 toughbook was $3700 when it was new in 2017.. but there are several of them on fl333bay right now for less than $130.. Do you think I should grab one? or do you like your Latitude better? A quick video about these things would be cool.. Explaining what you like and don't like about them, etc. (and others- whatever else you have experience with). Just like you did about the little scope

@calholli says:

What is that neck holder that you're using to hold your phone (or camera)? Seems like a cool gadget

@trublue2319 says:

What scope is that

@daviddasilva4897 says:

Nice one thanks for sharing

@mejalli911 says:

Awesome work man. I love ur work. Please keep making videos for us. Oh one small question. I didn't understand why u jumped the 2 data wires? Wouldn't that will damage the computer?

@MsFireboy2 says:

Thanks for posting. Question what’s the sampling rate of your O’scope?

@patrioticimmigrant8817 says:

Lets build this channel!

@JohnDoesGarage says:

That is really good information to have. Thank you for sharing.

@rodvan-zeller6360 says:

The best part of the video was the follow up verifying the private network between ABS and SWM. On the diagram it showed two can lines which would make you think it is not a private network.
Where did you get the 4 pin obd connector?

@donaldhopkins5883 says:

There is no other way for me to say it without typing paragraphs.

You are an absolute beast.

Quick, methodical, the definition of "test, don't guess".
