Thanks for posting. Considering buying and having the body shop paint and
R&I it for me. 3.4 hours labor until I watched this video.

Do you happen to still have the chrome handles? I recently got a 2014
silverado lt but mine came with painted door handles. I want to upgrade to
chrome maybe i can get them off of you.

I work on cars for a living, and these being newer trucks I had yet to
replace a door handle. It came out like most newer car handles do but I was
seriously struggling trying to put it back in. Don’t know why GM had to
reinvent the wheel on this one. Thank you Dirk Wakeham you saved me a lot
of headache! PS the door handles on these trucks are kind of wobbly so if
you replace one, expect a little play in it, as will all the door handles
on the truck.
Wow just received mine this afternoon it looks easy enough to do I wonder
if it’s the same as the drivers door since that one has the key lock in it.

awesome..the only other videos i found, you took the inside door panel off,
completely..where did you get the door handles? i have a 2014 sierra and
HATE the chromed/blingy door handles..thank you for posting..

Thanks to this video replacing my handles took me about 15 minutes…
definitely a great help since the 2 dimensional black and white paper
directions provided were to difficult to understand
