Just a quick video showing how I replaced the engine air filter in a 2016 GMC Sierra with the 5.3L v8. This will be the same for the 2014, 2015, and 2017 and 2018. It will also be the same for Chevy Silverado, Chevrolet Suburban, Chevy Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon and many more that use the same General Motors 5.3L v8. Save some money and do it yourself.
It is recommended that you change the Sierra engine air filter every 10- 15,000 miles or once a year.

Tools needed:
10mm socket and/or wrench
5/16 socket and/or wrench, or phillips or flat blade screwdriver to remove the 4 air filter housing screws.
