Tommy Hendricks says:

i should mention when it was running I unplugged coil packs to see which one was bad.no check engine light on now.

Tommy Hendricks says:

i changed a coilpack.unplugged battery to reset code.and then it started to stall when the ac was on.there was no oil in that throttle body.it still did it with that box off.i don’t work on cars.i just happen to look on you tube to try to fix.thought I got lucky.but luck ran out. should I take some where to get fixed or is there something else I can try.

Dan .R says:

Keep it revved up for about one minute then takd the truck for a text drive better if on the fwy or hwy where you can user some power then turn your A/C on and whala it’s fixed.

Dan .R says:

This really works guys i didn’t have this problem until i disconnected the batterie on my 2002 trailblazer when i put it back it would shut off as soon as i turned the A/C on and that happens cause of the reset on the batterie the censors detect that it’s dirty so it stats acting up any way buy this thing sea foam spray take the throttle body off and clean it with the seafpam as much as you can then disconnect the batterie for 30 min connect it back turn you’re truck on rev it to 2500 rpms

Eric Thomason says:

were would i find this mode door behind the dash

headlightdog says:

Good as always.. Brian

briansmobile1 says:

The door that controls WHERE the air comes from is called the “mode door”. Your is stuck. Often times it’s a simple electric motor or vacuum line. Other times the post on either end of the mode door is broken and the whole dash and HVAC box have to come out to repair it like on my F150 heater core video.

Eric Thomason says:

i have a 2003 trailblazer my problem is the air wont come threw the Air vents on the dash it cools and heats just only comes threw on ur feet and the defrost vents how do i fix that also two more things wen i start my car sometimes it wont start i have to press the gas real hard and it usually will start after that but it has a rotten egg smell and the last thing wen i get and go it sounds like a desiel truck in the first couple gears but in high gears its fine so please reply to me i need help

briansmobile1 says:

When you look at what oil has it in to achieve it’s Petroleum Institute rating you’ll find oil, detergents, and stabilizers. The detergent and STABILIZERS only last so many heat cycles before the oil can no longer hold together and it breaks into dark brown/red vapors, light/clear liquids, and black sludge or tar.

briansmobile1 says:

If you let oil go a long time without changing it- it breaks DOWN. It separates kind of the way oil does in a refinery when heated in a column. Various petroleum distillates precipitate are different heights within the column. Not changing your PCV valve or your oil is how this one got this way. Watch the PCV video on my channel for more info. Great question- thanks for asking!

jason cassidy says:

Hi Brian, can you explain something to me? What does not changing the oil on time have anything to do with how the oil gets into the box?

briansmobile1 says:

You’re welcome!
