Brendan shows you how to install Wilwood Rear Disc Brake Kit fitting your 1963-1987 Chevy C10. Subscribe for more awesome classic truck installs!
Replacing brakes are a necessity of owning any vehicle. However, while they will always wear out, the brakes on your C10 don’t need to wear out as fast when you install well-engineered, high-performance braking components, like those that are available from Wilwood.

Could you direct us how to modify our stock c10 e brake pedal to work with the wilwood e brake cables?
Will this kit fit the rear 8 lug 3/4 ton diff on c10 ??
Does the C clip need to go back in whenever puting your axle back in to the differential?
Do they fit on 1995 S10 chevy truck?
This was a great install video. The only criticism is the annoying music playing in the background which is distracting and makes it sometimes difficult to hear. Also I was hoping to see the reinstall of the emergency brake assembly or was it just removed completely?
Didn't read all the comments but would suggest changing the axel seal. Spend that $3 on a new one.
Beautiful, detailed and funny explanation. Thank you.
Great video. But how about the emergency brake cable and adjustment of the shoes?
Just out of curiosity, why didn’t you change the outer seals and bearings since the axles were out?
Please for the love of God. Show people how to back off the slack adjusters so they aren't breaking the drums off!!!
Can i use calipers of 4 pistons on the rear and calipers of 6 pistons on the front?
What did you use for a proportioning valve from Disc/drum to disc/disc with this kit im installing this kit on my 87 gmc and they dont really say what valve to use and if you happen to have a part number it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help and another great video!!!!
Question!! what are the availability of replacement parts such as E-brake shoes and pads? As nothing lasts forever
its the same kit for a 5 or 6 lug/
?
My directions say put the 3/8-24 bolt in from the back
Very good tutorial!
Doesn’t anyone else think it’s weird that they can’t make bolts that don’t need this “wiring.” I would never buy this system.
Does wildwood have a kit for D60 rear for a 6 bolt by 6.5" int pattern…? Or a undrilled hat..?
Perfect video!
Will this fit my 1985 c10 Chevy pu
Did you use the original park brake cable? Or did you have to modify it.
