A good time was had by all!!! Not sure Mrs. O is pickin' up what you are putting down…..but I found it interesting! I am wondering if this maybe should be a maintenance task once every few years? Is there a way to do preventative maintenance without removing all the fuses? We don't have PRNY levels of salt on the roads, but in NoVA we do get some. Thank you!! Have a good week!!

The heaters don’t bother me, but what is that beeping that I’ve been hearing the videos lately.

@ChrisWilliams-pu8pj says:

Thank you Eric! Always look forward to your videos!

Please do not ever move to California good and fair auto mechanics do not make it here is nice to see a professional at work with the instinct and the knowhow

Auto manufacturers need to corrosion proof their wiring. Given how sensitive these systems are they are doing a lousy job so far. Another great video.

I like the commentary between you and Mrs. O.!! I learned from my Daddy years ago that connections need to be bright and tight!

@JoseSilveira-newhandleforYT says:

Good job, Eric! Never seen surgery on a fuse before, but there's a first time for everything 🙂
Fuse numbering not pointing the same way in the fuse box annoys me too 🙂

@ejwxb2561 says:

That was a first for me too – I worked with marine electronics for a good many years and never saw a fuse corrode internally. Good catch – nothing wrong with your eyes to see that!

@garybrenner6236 says:

Is there some sort of dielectric spray that could be used to prevent that corrosion in the Rust Belt ?
Something you could just spray the entire fuse box with ?

@deltacollier5499 says:

What Autel is that?
Thanks

all these years, i thought it was the avon lady at your front door.

@realpropanetank says:

Perhaps all the complaints about the furnace are from people with a sound system. Could be a frequency that gets annoying, perhaps low end. I watch on an iPad primarily so to me it’s really not that loud, only when it’s the only sound at the moment does it get noticeable. Easy diag and nice fix. Learn something new everyday, here I thought fuses didn’t go bad.

@jetski54 says:

Good job Wric! I’m just a driveway mechanic. I used to say “if I don’t bleed I haven’t done it right”!

@johncooper4637 says:

Question: have you ever used NO-OX-ID "A Special"? I could not find a comparison to Ultra Seal. Some sail boat people claimed that the NO-OX-ID was the best in a salt spray test but did not try Ultra Seal.

@stazeII says:

That 30a fuse looked like it might have had a crack in the right side of the fusible link.

@Charlies_Corner says:

I’ve been working on everything for about 30 years and I’ve never seen fuses like that. Very interesting to see corrosion and how it gets everywhere.

@billsimpson604 says:

You went above and beyond the call of duty on that one, Eric.

@darkerbinding6933 says:

If I was the owner, I think I'd pull the other fuses one at a time and spray DeoxIT in the sockets.
