Hey Folks! Welcome back to the channel. In this video I’m going to show you how to reset/recallibrate the ECM on a 2007 Cadillac CTS with the 3.6l motor. This reset is to try and clear new trouble codes P0014 and P0021 after replacing the timing chains.

Great video I have a question I have a 08 CTS and it was sitting for a couple of years and when I parked it every thing was working fine then when I put a battery in and got it back going now my telescopic steering wheel will not move anti lock brake system sign is on which was the speed sensor which I replaced but it's still is on I'm just at my wits end and I was wondering should I reset the ECM I have some other codes that says things like certain systems has to be relearned I'm going to attach a picture of it the codes that came up and if you could help me out I'll greatly appreciate it
Not being truthful.. his engine light was on bc he hotwired it when he realized that pulling out the fuse didn't work.

I have a 2008 cadillac sts and it doesn't start it just clicks , I currently have it in the shop the mechanic originally told me its the theft deterrent system the starter is good and starter relay right. hours later he calls me back and says its the starter its not sitting well with me now he's charging $530 with labor… im trying to figure out what the problem really is

Easiest way to clear codes and reset computers is to just pull both battery cables off and touch them together.
I just engine swapped a 2.8 cts 2007 and took the two computers from the old one off and put the new ones the motor came with , it got power , but all it says is “starting disabled remove key” what should I do afterwards?
I have a 2007 cts 3.6 and swap engine with a 2005 cts engine 3.6 both vin numbers the 8th digit is number 7 so there compatible? Not sure so that's wat the guy said who sold me the engine. Well it's installed but just cranks doesn't turn on it sounds like timing is off could it have skipped a tooth or something when it was getting installed.

Hey man good video! Just a quick question I have a 2008 Cadillac CTS 4 and it’s throwing a P0700 code the car was ok until I removed the axle then replaced it now the car is in limp mode and I cannot figure out why I tried resetting the car and it’s still in limp mode it’s also flashing my traction control light when I’m going around 10kmh then the car will not go any faster, any suggestions would be awesome thanks!
Hey will this work to reset fuel trims if my LTFT Bank 2 is stuck on +17%? You're my only hope since you are practically the only guy who's very educated about this car.
