I’m having some weird issues in my Cadillac starts up and drives fine but st stop lights my battery charging system light comes on. Also had my gauges go bonkers door locks popping up and down and can’t barely rev than in a min it drives fine. Battery fairly new alternator checks out. Last I checked the battery cables seem fine but I may have missed the one on block negative cable.

Glynn Callagain says:

So, I'm supposed to have a grounding cable attached to the front of the engine on that little bolt? I have a 2009 Cadillac Escalade EXT, and I have never seen a wire on that bolt AT ALL! I'm definitely going to have to do some tracing now!

STREETRACEN4U says:

5:16 Thankyou, i looked all over the internet and nobody said WHAT size this bolt was. thankyou!

Andrew hemi says:

Thanks for the video, just spent half an hour trying the trace the cable in a cramped area then remember youtube existed. you just saved me hours.

Stephen Pleasant III says:

Thank you for putting this video together,it is very helpful. I have had the same problem on 2007 Escalade for about six months. Battery has a lot of power, have lights, radio, etc. I do have one more question is the Battery Current Sensor P/N 13505369 on the Negative Cable?

Michael Chavez says:

What size bolt is the bolt that connects the negative cable to the engine block? Thanks in advance!!!

orlando padilla says:

Any videos of this procedure, but on a 2016 yukon denali?

Rey Alvarez Jr says:

Straightforward, concise, appreciate the video❤. I think this is same problem I'm having on my 13' Yukon. Hey, I like your Android stereo system. Where'd you get it from??

Jerricho Echols says:

Big help love the info thank you.

steve gonzalez says:

The new cable looks thinner, does that matter?
