This video does not show the grief of installing the new filter. There are plastic guides molded into the filter housing and the bottom of the filter is almost impossible to guide the new filter into place. This video shows the filter just left loosely in the filter well with plenty of open space for air to go around the filter. I am going to have to put some type of guide material behind the guides that I can pull out after the filter is in place. There is no room to work the flimsy filter into the bottom guides and there is no rigid sides to this filter. This is a nightmare to get in. I had to stop working and look at this video again and it does not properly prepare you for this frustrating project that should be simple as it is in other vehicles. No thanks to GM's engineers who are skinning up my wrists!
