If you have a Cadillac hood vee and are having issues with the studs not staying in to attach it to the hood, then this video should help you out.
Our 1959 Cadillac Eldorado hood vee wouldn’t attach to the hood because the studs kept falling off, so we went ahead and used some epoxy with steel in it to hold them in place. This did the trick and now the hood vee can attach securely to the hood of our Cadillac. You can apply this method to similar items like trim and molding as long as the epoxy is well applied to give it a nice, sturdy hold.
