I cant seem to get the high beams to come out its like they don’t want to be untwisted what should I do? and I installed the low beams but they only come on when I turn on the high beam
Thanks 1AAuto you helped me save money with this easy to understand video….. It took me about 1 hour to replace my driver side headlight only because I did not use a lift or jack… I removed all the snap in plugs but only removed the 10 mm screws and nuts from the driver side which needed replaced. Again I just want to thank you guys because they were going to charge me $140 at the repair shop.

I need two tale light covers …they both broke off when i went through a car wash….im in dallas.tx
10mm deep socket. Pull the pins off the top of the trunk and remove the liner. There’s 8 bolts there. Remove em and be careful because the bezel gets loose. Afterwards, you can move the bezel to access the lights.
We do not have a video that shows you how to do this. You may be able to access them from inside of the trunk or there might be a screw that holds the lens in place. They shouldn’t be to difficult to repalace.

Probably the worst part about owning a 2003 cadillac cts.
I manage to get by without removing the front panel completely. The plastic grill area is pretty flexible and you can manage to temporarily bend it out a little bit.

Another great video! Followed everything step by step was able to switch my lights to HIDs. Putting it back on was definitely easier than the removal process. Couldn’t have done it without this video thanks again A1.

Very very nice tutorial. Running into stuck pins and collars on the retainers, plugging the electrical into the headlight *after* it was assembled, and correcting the overhanging ‘bottom lip” on the bottom splash pan — is all stuff that we would run into, on a REAL install, but I always see would have been edited out of those hokey, “everything perfect” TV shows.
__ A very good, very real shop experience and sharp quick thinking recoveries that get the job done.
We currently do not have a video of this repair. You may be able to reach in back of the housing and unscrew it. If not then there should be three bolts (I believe) that are holding it in place.
