You can loosen up the uni’s by putting the “Lip of the tailshaft”(the outer
most piece of the ring section) on the edge of a vice and giving the shaft
behind the cup a whack with a hammer…sometimes the tailshaft “ears” pinch
in when they’re a little tight.

joints were reboxed spicers
