I service mine every 30k miles. Mine is also lifted on 35’s and tows a tractor on a trailer every now and then. Truck is tuned w/AFM turned off (for now) and axles re-geared for the larger tires. Truck performs great!
There's still a whooooole lot of guys that believe trans fluid is never to be messed with. Like it, rear diff, T-case fluid are magical liquids made by space aliens
How do you know that it failed? Sets a code or hard shift? I have 17 corvette with only 27k miles and i have slight jerk on 5-6 shift, no code, no other issues, new filter and fluid changed. HELP
This biggest problem with the 8l90 is that it exists. Every 40k miles, you need to have a $600 service performed. Oh, and your torque converter will fail anyway. So, add another $4000 to your $600 transmission service, or $8000 if you're really unlucky and the torque converter failure killed the transmission, too.
I change my filter every 15k
After market, stay away from stock parts

Need to go inform dealers about this. Just had mine done by dealer and they weren’t going to change the filter. Stupidest thing I ever heard of.
