05 CTS, base stereo replaced ,vin reprogrammed chevy dealer. have another CTS, so swapped the Amp both work fine in other car, swapped speakers all good, checked continuity speakers wires from amp to speakers all good no resistance. What am I missing??? still no sound , checked steering wheel controls not muted.

what about the screen that lets you know how your oil is,gas,mileages,ect… how can you see that or can you keep it anf just remove the cd/tape player..
Ebay, on line or a salvage yard… However, these stereos are VIN coded by the dealer$hip. It is very important that you replace the stereo with one that can be coded to your vehicle. Check forums for what models they have found to be compatible with your vehicle. Many radios will install in your vehicle but not work.

No. There may be aftermarket adaptors available to add this feature. Check the internet for applications.
Dous the back of the stereo have an Aux output or Usb ??
The screen is part of the car stereo. If you are looking at replacing the stereo with aftermarket… See your local installation shops.
