bunch of cars already., & wasn’t 12 hours away…. LOL
I’m guessing because idk….but the car was probably wrecked somewhere
between 04′ and 07′. it was probably the cost of the airbags and the dash
pad that put it over the “total” threshold. few years later now…those
things are now junkyard items…that’s my guess
i’m not argueing the point if it could be made safe, again. but what is the
cost and time infolved in restoreing this vehicle? i am 62yrs old,i spent
over 40yrs doing body work and had master certification from I-CAR.i’m not
an idiot or a troll.if i was to see this vehicle in person i may feel
diferent. but with bags blown! i’m standing by my guns.
MILRIC77, i’m not so sure a car with that damage SHOULD be reparied? no
disrepect, but would you put your wife and kid in that? and have the
confidence it will hold up in another collision? see you in fl.
yes I would put my family in that car and feel 100% confidant. you can
repair anything back to oem standards and that wasn’t even a hard hit…it
doesn’t take a lot to set off an airbag. I bet the frame ends on that car
weren’t even bent. now im not saying anyone could fix that car and make it
road worthy but in the hands of someone that knows the procedures and has
the right equipment there is no reason it wouldn’t be a good car. they make
frame machines for a reason.
Hard to tell from the video. But looks to me like the front end is over
quite a bit to the left. I’ll bet both rails are over and maybe kinked,
which could be why it was totalled and not repaited. Again, just
guessing..lol That being said. You are right, it could be fixed and made
safe again.. Well depending who fixes it..lol.

this one has a certificate of distruction title i found out later, so i
told him he needs to part it out, otherwise it isnt worth what he was
asking
