Very good demonstration of a practical solution to a common problem.
Driving without AC was routine in the past though, we in this century seem
to have trouble coping without AC.
I wish the air worked in my daily driver.. One day maybe.
It will still work but not as well. You are correct about the AC running in
the defrost mode to dry the air.
If the AC compressor is removed does your windshield defroster still work??
In my Dakota the AC compressor provides “dryed’ air to defrost the
windshield, just wondering if it will revert to the old method of defrost
which is just heater core warmed air.
